Cancer Immunology Workshop

white blood cell

Throughout the year Cardiff University puts on a series of college events around each of its research themes. The Cancer and Immunology, Infection & Inflammation themes are coming together to present a Cancer Immunology Workshop on Thursday the 2nd of February 2017.

You will have the opportunity to hear from a range of staff from around the University as well as engage in discussion with colleagues about the future direction for cancer immunology. The day’s activities will focus around the following themes:

  • T Cell Targets – what makes a relevant target antigen?
  • Cancer Stem Cells
  • Rendering the Microenvironment Conductive to Immunotherapy
  • Immunotherapy

The workshop is targeted at those who work in both the fields of cancer research and immunology research, and we hope to build on the success of the regular cancer immunology events hosted by Prof Awen Gallimore.
